Для тех, кому требуются расширенные возможности охлаждения, предусмотрено два посадочных места для 140-мм вентиляторов, радиаторов водяного охлаждения до 280 мм или воздушных кулеров высотой до 170 мм.

Кроме того Core 500 допускает установку отсека под один оптический привод, трех 3,5″дисков и трех 2,5″ дисков, обеспечивая использование каждого квадратного миллиметра этого компактного 19,5-литрового корпуса.
