Presenting the release of Era 2 — the evolution of our iconic small form factor case, melding design innovation with engineering prowess.  

Era 2 refines the distinctive architectural design of the series and improves on its cooling capability for a smoother gaming experience. It features a tactile top panel made with solid, FSC-certified walnut and an outer body crafted from anodized aluminum. Both panels are ventilated for better performance and are easy to remove. The top panel is magnetically fastened and the outer body simply slides off.  

On the inside, a tool-less sliding latch mechanism allows swift removal and reseating of the top bracket. This gives smart access to an open interior with space for a powerful three-slot GPU on one side and CPU cooling on the other. It also features a slidable central wall that adds 15 mm of internal flexibility, allowing builders to find the optimal ratio between each side of their system.

To boost thermal performance, Era 2 is engineered to direct airflow through the case. It comes with two pre-installed Aspect 12 PWM fans, features ample ventilation throughout the case and is ideal for water cooling using a top radiator, to help enable a premium gaming experience in a streamlined format.

Fractal Refine is designed with a clear purpose in mind — to create a comfortable, versatile place to sit and become fully and enjoyably immersed in the gaming experience. To achieve this, we took inspiration from modern gaming spaces, Scandinavian furniture design and research–led ergonomic science, to fuse the ergonomics of high–end office chairs together with intuitive controls and an aesthetic designed to elevate the gaming station.

It offers a range of easy–to–use adjustment features, including headrest height, seat height and depth, lumbar support depth and height, armrests in four directions and tilt tension. The tilt is also lockable in thirteen positions and offers fluid, ergonomic recline thanks to the synchro–tilt mechanism which moves in tandem with the user’s body as they lean back.
Fractal Refine is available in adaptive, breathable mesh or soft, padded fabric in either Light or Dark color palettes. It is also available in supple Alcantara®, a material usually found in luxury automobiles. All combinations provide additional comfort through padded armrests and a removable memory foam headrest, while offering a sturdy, glass–fiber reinforced frame and aluminum wheelbase for stability. The end result is a gaming chair designed to provide comfort, ergonomic support and adjustability while enhancing the gaming station aesthetic.

Refine is now available in the US and Asia Pacific, with availability in other regions coming this month.

Presenting the release of Mood — a PC case designed to streamline the gaming station. It is a low-volume case in a space-saving pillar design format, which minimizes the footprint of the PC on the desk. Its outer body features breathable fabric in a clean shape and color palette to harmonize with the home.

For access to the interior, users can pop out the back panel and simply slide off the fabric-covered enclosure for full access to their build. Inside, Mood can house a graphics card up to 325 mm in length and is compatible with SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce Cards. Connecting the graphics card is also made easier thanks to the included PCIe 4.0 riser cable. 

For effective cooling, Mood features a 180 mm Dynamic fan at the top which moves air up through the case. For more ambitious cooling builds, there is compatibility for radiators up to 280 mm or CPU air coolers up to 114 mm in height.

Scape

Scape offers a rich, comfortable and intuitive wireless audio experience. Designed with clean lines, soft fabric, and paired with a wireless charging stand, it offers a clean, decluttered gaming aesthetic. The charging stand also provides hassle-free inductive charging so users can simply pick up Scape and jump into their game without thinking about their battery level.

Scape also offers audio connectivity through a low-latency dongle or multi-device Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and comes with a Super Wideband, flip-to-mute detachable microphone. With ambient lighting and audio presets which are easily customized through Adjust Pro, our free-to-use online configuration tool, Scape offers a tailored experience without the need for software.

Mood

Available on June 18th, Mood is designed to streamline the gaming station with a look which harmonizes with the homes of modern gamers. It features a minimized footprint and a sleek fabric outer body which slides off for 360° access to the build. Inside, Mood houses a powerful 180 mm fan at the top, which moves air up through its pillar-shaped body to help keep components stay cool. It can also neatly conceal a 325 mm graphics card, allowing users to integrate a PC which offers a full gaming experience seamlessly into their home.

Era 2

Meet Fractal Terra — a PC case designed and engineered to reshape the small form factor gaming experience.

Inspired by the homes of modern gamers, Terra has been crafted to lift the desk environment and harmonize powerful gaming technology into their living space. To achieve this, it incorporates boutique design features such as panels cut from anodized aluminum, including an 8 mm-thick aluminum front and a panel made from FSC-certified solid walnut.

From building through to daily use, Terra was designed with user interaction in mind. Whether someone rotates open the aluminum side panels, slides open the top with the integrated tab or presses the laser-engraved aluminum power button — every interaction with Terra is designed to feel smooth and enjoyable.

Inside, Terra hides smart features such as a stepless slidable central wall, allowing users to adapt the space ratio between compartments by up to 30 mm. Ridge riser card – replacement units

The PCIe riser card supplied with Ridge was discovered to be incompatible with some hardware configurations when run in PCIe 4.0 mode.

Since then, we have been working on developing an updated riser to enable PCIe 4.0 compatibility for those configurations.

A limited batch of replacement cards are now ready, with sufficient quantity to meet the needs of all customers who have reported compatibility issues as yet.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time, as we’re preparing to include this solution in newly produced Ridge units.

We will update you as soon as Ridge is restored to 4.0 compatibility.

Ridge riser card – PCIe 4.0

The PCIe riser card supplied with Ridge has been discovered to be incompatible with some hardware configurations when run in PCIe 4.0 mode.

After extensive testing, we have determined that while most systems will run PCIe 4.0 using the Ridge riser card without issue, those experiencing issues with stability will need to run the system in PCIe 3.0 mode for now. This can be enabled in the motherboard BIOS settings.

We are developing a solution to enable full PCIe 4.0 compatibility, but until that is ready, we will update our listings to reflect that only PCIe 3.0 compatibility is guaranteed.

Currently affected users, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] to receive assistance and continuous updates with the latest information until we have a riser replacement available. The customer service team can also help those requiring guidance in switching to PCIe 3.0 mode.

North helps to reimagine the gaming station, introducing natural materials and bespoke details for a case which integrates stylishly into the living space.
