Welcoming Alder Lake – Message regarding our Coolers

Fractal compatibility for new CPUs

Following the announcement of a new line of processors from Intel, we want to touch on the next steps for Fractal CPU Coolers.

The Lumen, Celsius, and Celsius+ will be compatible with the LGA 1700 socket.

Existing users of these coolers, and customers of the stock currently available at resellers, can now apply for an upgrade retention bracket kit, provided free of charge, on our dedicated web page.

For future customers, we aim to include LGA 1700 compatibility right out of the box. This will happen gradually as we replenish our stock with updated units, which will include the LGA 1700 retention bracket kit.

Please note that, due to current challenges with global logistics, there will be some delays with kits reaching their destination. We will be constantly updating the timeline for this on the dedicated page.

We look forward to seeing the Lumen, Celsius and Celsius+ used in builds featuring LGA 1700 hardware as soon as possible.

Important message regarding Torrent

Update: Torrent is back!
21-10-22 — 15:30 CEST

Summary and resolution

The first batch of Torrent cases had an issue with the Nexus 9P Slim Fan Hub causing a potential electrical malfunction. We temporarily halted sales and manufacturing as the design was updated.
Following production and distribution of the new design, existing Torrent stock has been re-worked to include the updated Fan Hub and the Torrent is now back on sale in most regions.
If you bought a Torrent prior to the update or wish to verify which Fan Hub version your case has, please refer to the following page: Torrent Support.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time, we’re excited to see the Torrent back on shelves worldwide and looking forward to seeing your builds in it!

Important message regarding Torrent
21-08-31 — 21:30 CEST

We have an important message regarding the Torrent.
Some reports of Fan Hubs damaged in manufacturing potentially causing a short-circuit have led us to re-evaluate the circuit board design.
We remain committed to the quality of our products and the Nexus 9P Slim Fan Hub included with the Torrent does not live up to the standards customers expect from us. Our development team is working tirelessly to design and manufacture an updated version that will address these issues as soon as possible.

If you own a Torrent case, we ask that you unplug the Fan Hub and fill in the form available here and a replacement kit will be sent to you as soon as possible.
You can still use your Torrent without the Fan Hub, but given the compromised feature set, we are also coordinating with retail partners to enable a smooth refund process if you prefer not to wait for the replacement kit. We have temporarily stopped sales of the Torrent until the Fan Hub is updated.

We sincerely apologize for your inconvenience.
